Basement

Nellindill Mansion
The recently acquired residence of Brenda and Darius Nellindill, purchased as a celebratory gift to themselves for the substantial progress they made in their newest endeavors to drive their company towards groundbreaking eco-friendly goals. The pricey estate is a pinnacle of luxurious sustainability: spacious rooms, environment-conscious amenities, solar-powered energy, and secret quarters for conducting privy business.   Map created by me (Ossandra White/WordiGirl) with DungeonFog software and elements, with permissions.
As you descend the staircase, your footsteps echo off the cement walls and marble-tiled floors. The air is chilling and all is quite dark, but there is a spark at the far wall that fizzles to life every now and again...

  Breaker Box

In the basement, you find the busted breaker box. the wires are cut crudely as if they have been snipped or chewed by some sort of animal. In addition to the baskets of laundry, washing machine, and dryer set, there is a rusty pair of shears thrown haphazardly onto the floor.

Ossie will let you know that the wires do not appear to have been chewed by an animal, but you may have your own doubts about that statement.
There is also a couch, a chair, a table, and a television set in the other corner of the cellar, along with some old moving boxes left over from the Nellindills that they have yet to unpack.   There is only one way into the basement: through the Stairwell. There are no other doors or windows in the room.   There is an area with a couch and a table where one can watch television. There is also a washing machine and dryer set lined against the wall. This basement does not span the entirety of the mansion. It is more like a smaller cellar only underground that provides a decorative platform outside that can be utilized as a patio or porch.   Some boxes are left over from the Nellindills' move. They don't include many valuable assets, however. Most of it is purely sentimental.   The basement is rather open and there is nothing in place to prevent anyone from entering.
