Cleaver Seeds

Α material only harvestable from nature
Cleaver seeds are gleaned from the Cleaver plant (also known as Galium Aparine). This plant is famous for its burrs and is sometimes called the velcro plant.

History & Usage

Everyday use

W.I.L.L.O.W.I.S.P. scientists harvest the seeds from this plant and use them in their complex process of genetic mutation in order to create TrackBurrs. In the W.I.L.L.O.W.I.S.P. laboratories, the seeds are added along with several other ingredients until a final seed is achieved. These are then grown in a greenhouse on WILLOWISP property until they have become bushes large and strong enough for transport. These bushes are relocated to Dionaea Muscipula and planted in set areas so that they can thrive and stand as a hidden defense against criminals who want to escape and others who want to enter the island to find secrets or steal devices.   Once genetically altered and grown, the new bushes are no longer able to produce seeds that spread elsewhere, so there is no reproduction. This means that scientists must continuously create these bushes in the labs and transport them out to the different sectors of the Dionaea Muscipula on a regular basis.

Distribution

Storage

These seeds are collected, stored, and used in the Experiment Sector of Dionaea Muscipula. The scientists work in the greenhouse area specifically meant for fashioning plants to be placed all over the island for defenses or other security mechanisms.
Commander McCox Gives Newbies the Rundown:   W.I.L.L.O.W.I.S.P. loves to do all sorts of experiments. There are experiments with technology, of course. But there are also many bio experiments that deal with plants and even animals. This is really cool-- and scary if you really pay attention.
Type
Organic
Common State
The seeds are found within the burrs of the Galium Aparine plant and scientists must take special care to harvest them.

I love that you've taken something that we usually ignore - a burr - and turned it into something really sneaky and useful. Now I'm going to have to figure out how to coax magical trackers from similar plants....
