Parlour
The main sitting room where you addressed all the party guests and each one introduced themselves. There are three comfortable couches, tables, an open bar area with stools, a piano in the corner, a fireplac that was not lit until the power went out and some began trying to start a fire in it.
There are entrance doors from the kitchen and into the dining room. There is also another door that leads out into the hallway.
The door behind the bar swings open and closed like the classic ones at the saloon for ease of entry and exit for the waitstaff who have to come through, though none are present at the moment.
Design
The parlour is a large but cozy room with ample space to entertain several guests. There are different sections in the room, including a bar area, a sitting area, and a piano area.
The bar area is furnished with stools and a counter for serving drinks, as well as a little corner with a table and some chairs for others who may want to lounge with their drinks. Behind the bar is a door that provides direct access to the Kitchen for quick retrieval of food and more drinks if the coolers and holders under and around the counter run dry.
The piano sits in the corner by the window along the wall that runs along the Corridor. It is not played often, but it seems to be of significant value. This fixture was present in the mansion before the Nellindills purchased it and is in excellent condition. It has already been tuned, and sits invitingly for a curious guest or two to mosey over and run their fingers along the keys if for only but a moment.
The center of the room is home to the sitting area which is composed of three couches and a coffee table surrounding the big, roaring fireplace that provides warmth and light to all who sit around it.
