Mr. E

Mr. E is a title given to any male Junior Sprouts chosen for the role. The female counterpart to this role is Miss. Terry. The true names of these teachers are not often known by the students, though each particular Mr. E or Miss Terry have their own identifying factors. On the backend, W.I.L.L.O.W.I.S.P. keeps track of which person has held the role and when. Most Junior Sprouts only have one Mr. E and one Miss Terry to keep track of for their entire learning stint at the company.

It is unknown why the company seems to keep the true identities of these instructors secret, but most of them came from elsewhere in the field before being selected to teach the younger generation of operatives. They are known as Camp Counselors to the families and friends of Junior Sprouts who have supposedly gone to Pumilla Academia, so it is suspected this is one of the reasons a generic name such as Mr. E or Miss Terry was chosen, to avoid suspicion and make it simple for the children to remember without giving too much away.

Commander McCox gives newbies the rundown:   Mr. E and Miss Terry. These are some fun names, right? Well, they're easy to remember. Good thing the Junior Sprouts only have to try to remember one of each. I've known a couple of Mr. Es and Miss Terrys through my employment here at W.I.L.L.O.W.I.S.P., and sometimes, if I talk about one of them, people are confused and think I'm talking about the other one!   The current Mr. E and Miss Terry are easy enough to remeber though. When I refer to the others, I can simply use their regular agent names. I thought about being a Mr. E once, but I think it would be too much to handle those crazy kids. I like to talk to and deal with them sometimes, but if I was forced to try to teach them every day, I'd probably get a headache. I've got my hands full enough trying to put up with Elsewood's crazy antics, but at least he and the other the main operatives I'm responsible for here are grown adults. It's less liability, but I still do what I can to keep them safe. I don't take this job as Commander lightly. It's a mess sometimes, but I wouldn't trade it for the world.

What a wonderful idea! I wonder what happens as the agents become older and start chatting to each other. Do they mention Mr. E or Miss Terry, and do they begin to wonder if they had the same one?

Let's have fun creating the impossible, building new worlds, and all types of possibilities. Valcin

Thanks for reading! Yeah, I'm sure this is bound to happen sometimes. There are records in the database to identify who went to which class, but I'm sure there are many conversations like this amongst those who don't bother to check it. Especially if the students don't remember the year, or if a teacher had to be replaced mid-semester. Glad you enjoyed the article! <3
