Qualifications

Many Ambassador Assistants know at least two languages; the native tongue of the ambassador they are assisting, and English. Most skilled assistants also know more than these two languages.   The drivers are trained in traveling all over the world and must know the traffic laws of the various locations they will be traversing through. They also must posess a chauffer license. They traditionally drive limos, but can also transport the ambassadors in other vehicles that are less conspicuous.   The personal assistants are tech savvy and tasked with keeping appointments, making notes, and ensuring there are no schedule conflicts. They also make many phone calls for their assigned ambassador.

Traditionally, the Ambassador Assistants come from the same nation as their assigned ambassador.

Operations

Tools

Necessary tools vary by assigned task. Drivers need vehicles. Security guards need weapons and protective gear to help them to keep their assigned ambassador safe and out of harm's way. Secretaries need stationery as well as electronic means of note taking and scheduling. No matter the department, all Ambassador Assistants need ways to communicate with their assigned ambassadors and each other. Some also need ways to communicate with other ambassodors' staff members.

Dangers & Hazards

Ambassador Assistants must endure several tests and background checks before they can be considered loyal and worthy to work by their assigned ambassador's side. Because there is much confidentiality involved in the role, they are forced to sign several Non Disclosure Agreements. Though many go through all necessary requirements, some assistants still prove to be untrustworthy.
