Theme Score Sampler

Hey guys. I have been working on a themesong for my current wip. I know what I want in my head, and this isn't really it. This one is kinda scattered and has a lot of variety in a short period of time, but that is because I wanted to display the different tones all in one piece. this is meant to be a classical/jazz/techno ensemble. I won't say too much more. I don't want to skew any honest opinions. Please just let me know what you all think. I know it needs improvement, so please don't be shy about the feedback. thanks.

I wasn't liking it for the first 30 seconds, but once the other instruments start coming in, especially the sax, I really enjoyed it. It's good for a background/mood.

I believe it's a bit too strong in the beginning. I also agree with Eternal Sage Kitoypoy.

The first 24 secs had me thinking "Spooky Setting" more than "Secret Agent Setting" ... and then the beat got "real" changing my thinking fully to "Secret Agent" which then held for the rest of the piece. I am not a music person in the least but I hope this average listener's opinion helps you.

This is some nice music, well done :D Contrary to the others, I like the beginning best and didn't like the part with the saxophone, but you can't please everyone XD I did get the agent secret vibe, I could see the music as the beginning of a theme song in a James Bond film.   Small note, you have some high beeping noise that appear at the 8 s and I found those painful to listen too :p

thanks for the feedback! someone else did say something about the sharp beeps as well. I'll take that into consideration. thanks!

My first impression is that it could do with some tempo change, like maybe a half-time section for tension. Also, the sax portion reminded me of the Inspector Gadget theme, which is not really a problem!   I feel like a stronger bass line would also help add to the heft. A lot of string/orchestral sounds, but not a ton in the lower registers.   Just my two cents... :)

Personally, the high I guess cyber pitches in the first twenty seconds or so were a bit too high (and they kinda stung for me but I just have sensitive hearing ^_^* )-- but once that passed, I really liked it! It's a nice theme that I can listen to on loop as I read something :)

I like it, but there is a beeping sound between around 0:08 to 0:16 that hurts my ears. I thought it was tinnitus at first XD;;

sorry about that! It seems not many are a big fan of the beeps. Noted. Thanks for listening and I appreciate your feedback!

I think you are right that it is scattered. I don't think it is the theme or the rhythms, those are appealing. I think you have sounds that don't match - as colors can complement or clash. Maybe too many transitions and different instruments. Check out this song, it's similar and blends - if you don't have amazon music maybe do a search for the "Let's Run" track from "The Wanderer" album from Secession Studios. https://music.amazon.com/albums/B00OV79OPA?trackAsin=B00OV79WMK&ref=dm_sh_3e09-f686-9dbc-95e2-d3ec2

thanks for the suggestion, though the song you linked gives slightly different vibes than those I intend to convey. Yes, I have to work on the blending, but, as I mentioned, it's kinda a sampler/mix between different versions of the same score. Thanks so much for your honest feedback and opinions!

Yes, an example for blending not for theme. It has a series of escalations (don't know the right word) where instruments are added but they don't overpower the flow/story of the music.   Right, the many transitions make sense for a sampler so maybe just consider my thoughts for each grouping of instruments. Great idea to make a themesong.

Hi! Nice music :) The parts I liked the most were the first 30 seconds and the last 30 seconds. The violin were good! The middle part was kinda confusing. I hope this helps you!
