Chapel
W.I.L.L.O.W.I.S.P. understands the important value of Human connection and the sense of normalcy that normal Humans experience in their normal lives. Routines can help the world feel less chaotic. When one abides by a schedule full of things they intentionally pick for themselves, they naturally feel more in control and at ease. This is why the agency offers several opportunities to connect with likeminded groups of Humans as they collectively strive to connect with an even higher power. Many in-person opportunities exist in your area, but online options are also available.-a perfectly normal and not at all suspicious email from Higher-Ups
History
From the inception of W.I.L.L.O.W.I.S.P., operatives have been known to originate and identify withall sorts of backgrounds, life walks, and faiths. These agents have sometimes practiced their faith within the organization in personal quarters or in spare time, but most waited until they returned to their normal lives to partake in religious activities. But, just as W.I.L.L.O.W.I.S.P. has added more entertainment experiences and other attractions to explore within the organization that consequently limit the need for opetatives to integrate into society and possiby reveal company secrets, the agency has since also installed Chapels.
It has been thought that, as W.I.L.L.O.W.I.S.P. began to grow, they realized that it would be beneficial to add these things out of convenience. It is also suspected that company secrets had been leaked and the organization workd quickly to subtly put a stop to it. This theory is supported by a pattern that reflects W.I.L.L.O.W.I.S.P. shifting focus and becoming even more devoted to recruiting agents who had little to no family, friends, or other attachments they would feel compelled to share intimate secrets with. This explains also how agents have therefore come to see the organization as more of a safe-haven and outlet to experience things, forge bonds, and make connections that they lacked in theirr normal lives. It is unclear whether the organization has always stived to find employees that fit this narrative, if this is something the agency began to opt towards over time due to past failures, or if the entire notion is purely coincidental.
Components and tools
W.I.L.L.O.W.I.S.P. has several base locations all over the world. Within these headquarters, many recreational areas can also be found. Often, these sections include a designated Chapel area or even just a prayer room. Online services and forums are also offered for agents to interact with through their computers, phones, WispNavis, and any internet-enabled devices.
Participants
Chapel exists all over the world in different forms. There are even online options to check in on several Chapel services happening around the globe in different time periods. Agents of all rank and level can interact with these, no matter how long they have been employed at the company.
Observance
Many agents decide to visit Chapel when they are feeling down or discouraged, while others stop in when they are feeling happy and wanting to praise, or grateful and desiring to worship. There are also some who frequent Chapel routinely regardless of their specific feelings. Some agents who don't openly profess faith may even feel compelled to enter Chapel when something is bothering them. Regardless of declaration or creed, agents have been known to pray about issues that are going on in their personal lives and even possibly company matters and missions that are bothering them.
Commander McCox gives newbies the rundown: W.I.L.L.O.W.I.S.P. is home to agents fom all creeds, beliefs, and walks of life. Still, they understand that most agents are human and some humans desire to connect with a higher power. This is why they have Chapel. It's basically a bunch of groups where operatives can choose to spend time when they are not actively accomplishing a mission. Just like the normal world, they have church functions and things all held right here within the organization; Sunday services, Bible studies, choir practices, you name it. W.I.L.L.O.W.I.S.P. believes things like this will help agents to have a sense of normalcy even when facing difficult situations in their carreers here. What? What do you mean, I said 'most agents are human'? You know, I was saying ALL agents are human, right? They are. What were you thinking I was thinking? Oh, unless you count HTPMDs and stuff. Yeah. I was talking about them. They sometimes visit the services, too. Have you see some of them? I think one Chapel chapter somewhere even has an all-dog choir. My wife showed me a video of them performing. Quite a heavenly sound, if you ask me.
